Due to the complete apathy of the planners of this four-side crossing and neglect by the Highway Police of Ahmednagar (Incidently, the crossing is the entrace to the police headquarters of the Ahmednagar District), the accident rates are quite high. The signals don't seem to be working most of the times. Traffic awareness is at an all-time low and bribery and corruption in the society has led to quite a number of fatal accidents here.
