ALL THESE FAMILIES ARE FROM SASWAD WHICH IS NEAR FROM PUNE. SO THE SUGAR FACTORY IS KNOWN AS "THE SASWAD MALI SUGAR FACTORY LTD MALINAGAR".IT'S LOCATION IS NEAR AKLUJ (FROM AKLUJ 4.5km) ON AKLUJ-TEMBHURNI HIGHWAY.

    Hi, Although i don't live in Malinagar, but I have my sister living there with her family and I visit them during off days. I would like to mention that this town is a beautiful place to visit and de-stressing center for city dwellers. I have taken many friends of mine to Malinagar and they have enjoyed the life out there.The Kudale's have certainly done alot for the residents of this small town - the Gulmohor School, factory and many more. I take pride in saying that my sister is a member of the Saswad Malinagar Sugar Factory and my 7 year old niece is the youngest shareholder in the same factory ..... KUDOS to these people .... :)

    Hi ... this is Tanishka ........ all my loved ones call me Tanu. I am a class 4th Gulmohar Student living at Ranjai Farm house. My Grandfathers name is Mr Vijaykant Shankarrao Kudale. My Grnadmothers name is Mrs.Anupama Vijaykant Kudale. My dadys name is Nikhil Vijaykant Kudale and my mom s name is Mrs. Anjali Nikhil Kudale and she is my teacher in Gulmohor English Med School. I love Malinagar as much as I love Pune. My father is an Agriculturist. We grow all colors of Capsica in our garden besides sugarcane, wheat and bananas. My mama ajoba's name is Mr.Ranjendra Gopalroa Girme and he lives across our house. I take pride in living at Malinagar which is so beautiful and green all over the year. My house is an eco friendly house and I wish all the houses in Malinagar also become eco friendly one day. Do visit my beautiful town. BYE.............. :)

    Hi! I am a ex-student of Model Multipurpose Highschool, Malinagar. I still remeber very much those good old days at school(1968-1970). I am really proud of my school. The quality of education , the values, the calibre & devotion of all the teachers especially Pricipal Page Sir, Bhave Sir, Sabade Sir, Vadgaonkar Sir & S.G.Kulkarni Sir and discipline is worth to mention here. All wish all the best & bright future to school. I will cherish the fond memories forever.

    Hi, I am Swati Joshi. My father Dr. G. R. Paranjpe was a veterinary doctor in Malinagar and served there for 41 years (1958- 1999) . He was a well-known doctor and was very well respected by all the share-holder bagaitdars, farmers, factory officers and staff for his dedication, soft and kind nature and above all for his skills. He also looked after the SMSSF's gardens for many years as he was very knowledgeable in that subject. He was a man with green fingers. He was very good especially in cultivating rose plants. He looked after the factory's dairy also for many years. He was in-charge on belahf of the factory of lunch arrangement for 'Warkaris' of Saint Tukaram Maharaj Palkakhi . He performed this seva for 21 years. We used to live in a bungalow next to Cinema Chawl just opposite of the entrance of the big play ground. Later he moved to the Girme vasti. I stayed in malinagar from 1960 to 1969. Then we (my mother and siblings) moved to Pune for fyrther education. My dad stayed alone in Malinagar after that. He used to visit Pune evry fortnight. I studied in the balak mandir and primary school. I had visited to many of the share-holder bagaitdars' houses along with my father when he used to make a visit to treat an ailing animal. I had been to many Kudales, Girmes,, Rauts, Pandhares etc etc. Shridhar Girme (Madhubhau Girme's son) and Abhijit Kudle (Chandrakant Kudle's son) were my schoolmates in balakmandir. Vandana Girme was a good friend of mine in primary school. My mother also taught in the high school for few years. Now my parents are no more. I am also 54 years old. But I always remember the beautiful days of my childhood I spent in Malinagar. That was the best period of my life. I wish i would be able to visit Malinagar some day again. I am writing my memories of those beautiful days and beautiful people of Malinagar.
