Former location of the Red Barn Hostel. When this writer visited it in 2002, it had been closed for a while and the owners had no plans to re-open it. The owners were disappointed that a book about hostels continued to list this facility in spite of their telling the publisher that the hostel was closed. The book is "Hostels USA," by Paul Karr, published by The Globe Pequot Press. This writer found the hostel on page 186 of the edition copyrighted in 2000; that was an erroneous listing.
