Hindu College, Sonepat was established in 1956. The prime mover behind the effort was Lala Dhani Ram Ji . Master Ji, the best mathematics teacher of his time, dedicated his whole life in the service of Hindu High School and is revered (why mince words- worshipped) by his old students and general public of the area. The college was the catalyst for other Hindu institutions in town and has excellent academic standards. Hindu High school named its hostel after this great man.

  • That was the golden era of the school when Lala Ji (the name lala Dhani Ram Ji fondly remembered) was head of this institution. Students used to touch His feet before appearing in the exams. Due to His blessings everyone got the full marks in Maths. I am also one of the luckiest persons who could learn under His guidance. He is the GOD for us. I passed out in 1968. If anyone who reads it and was the student of Hindu School at that time, please be in touch.
