This area was part of RAF Barkston Heath/USAAF Station 483 during WW2. Some structures remain, but most have been removed. The area is now pivately owned & used for storage purposes. Buildings that remain: 4 x T2 Hangers, various footings and hard standings. Note the 2 additional light grey buildings were added in the late 90's
