  • Beware of renting from this store! Owner charges full daily rental rates ($4)every day past due. And he's willing to charge this rate for 30 days deliquency(call that over $100). We rented two films for my young daughter, forgot to return them before a short vacation, and turned them in 9 days late. Five months later, I was suddenly billed $68 on my credit card. $68! And the DVD's had been in his possession for nearly five months. Honestly, the replacement value for the videos would have been considerably less (and he admitted that). No one can convince me that this isn't unconscionable. I hate to support Blockbuster (I truly do), but this sort of usury guarantees that I will never support--or encourage others to support--Grandview Video.
  • how bout a phone number? i have looked everywhere trying to find out how to contact this company so i can get my damn money back.
  • stfu blad:) i dont care if your my brother, Grandview Video is a great place to get a good opinion and a good movie. Take your movies back on time. All of you.
  • Ken maybe you should return your end of the agreement on time, and not rip on this guy who charges idiots like you. He is about as nice as it gets. Get your head out of your daughters ass
  • We Love Bob & the video selection at Grandview Video. This is the best place to find a great selection of new releases, indie flicks, and classic films. Diamond in the rough of video stores.
  • I like getting videos here. The phone number for is 488-4408.
  • This is a great place to rent DVDs with excellent selection of indie flicks! The emphasis is on new releases, but there is a decent catalog of older titles. And, you're supporting a independent business owner. To the poster that whined about paying late fees, this has been the business model for video stores since we were trying to figure out whether we'd be watching VHS or BETA, you didn't keep your part of the bargain - don't blame the store because you didn't get the movies back in time. The rules are simple. Plus, Bob has given me a call to let me know if I haven't returned the movies within two days of the due date - to make sure I don't rack up huge late fees.
