During the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, the AABB athletic complex will be rented out to the Canadian Olympic Committee to be re-purposed as ‘Canada Olympic House’.

In July most of the facility will close to the public for renovations to create a ‘home away from home’ focussed on supporting Canadian athletes and their families, as well as coaches, judges, and COC corporate sponsors.

Depending on scheduled events, there will be select days when non-accredited Canadians, with valid passports, can access COH.

COH will be open 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. daily, August 5 - 21, 2016.

This facility will NOT be the site of Canada Paralympic House (CPH) for the 2016 Paralympic Games, Sept. 7-18.

The Canadian Paralympic Committee announced CPH for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games will be in the Sheraton Barra Rio de Janeiro Hotel, located on the beach in the Barra de Tijuca District.
