Shebenik Mountain

It's a mountain in central East Albania in the district of Librazhd. Its highest altitude is 2253 meters above sea level. The mountain is rich in forestry, particularly beech and pine forests as well as abundant natural mineral resources such as chromium ore and iron. Six glacial lakes are found near the summit of Shebenik, the largest of which is Rajca lake. The area is one of the few habitats of the endangered feline specimen: the Eurasian Lynx.
