This is one of the small villages /hamlets a mile to the North of Mareham-le-fen ,that still has and still uses their village Church this is also a Church which was built by the Stanhope family at a reported cost of £99
A small Georgian church with some evidence of its medieval predecessor. An octagonal font that looks 14th century, greenstone masonry under the chancel rendering and the west wall and a chancel arch that is probably 13th century
