The Mary Rose Museum is a historical museum located at Historical Dockyards in Portsmouth in the United Kingdom run by the Mary Rose Trust. The Mary Rose was the flagship of Henry VIII's fleet and was built in Portsmouth in 1509-1510. In 1545, it capsized due to instability issues. The ship was raised in 1982 and was placed in this boathouse in Portsmouth. Various planks were restored, and the ship was chilled with water, then treated with polyethylene glycol (PEG) and is currently being dried in a "hotbox", a process that will last until 2016.
