A very small Safeway store, though updated with the Lifestyle renovation. This was originally built as Bon Appetit, a gourmet foods concept by Safeway launched in 1981 (and yes, it was related to the magazine). Its location in the heart of San Francisco make it almost as much as a lunch destination at the deli than a supermarket, though it gets plenty of that from nearby apartment dwellers. The Safeway sits right on the corner of Davis and Jackson.
