Venerable Priest's Hospital (Seville)

Spain / Sevilla / El Cuervo de Sevilla / Seville / Plaza de los Venerables, 8
interesting place, listed building / architectural heritage

This hospital was founded by Justino Neve in 1675 as residence for the venerable priests. It is located in the Santa Cruz quarter. The building has two floors and consists of a church and an old residence. Its courtyard with galleries of arcades in an upper level should be highlighted. You access to the central fountain through circular steps decorated with glazed tiles. We should also highlight the staircase covered by a Baroque oval dome and decorated with Baroque plasterwork.
