In Undavalli Renuka Ellamma temple with the head of Renuka devi, the mother of Lord Parasurama is said to be located. In the CD (video) of Jogulamba temple fo Alampur it is descibed along with a 10 seconds glance of the temple. The legend is that when Parasurama cut the head of mother Renuka as per the orders of father Jamadagni at the ALAMPUR the head of mother Renuka fell at Undavelli, this village. A temple is located in this place as Renuka Ellamma temple as I saw it in the video of Alampur Jogulamba temple. I visited Alampur Jogulamba temple, and hoped to see the Undavalli Renuka Ellamma temple as well. I could not see this temple at Undavelli as no information is avaialble to me about the name of this place at the time of my visit on 1 August, 2010.
