Area under mixed Peshmerga, ISF and Hashid al Shaabi control.
The village was liberated by the Peshmerga in September 2014.
The Peshmerga left the controll of the area village mainly to the ISF and Hashid al Shaabi-militants because of Shia Arab inhabitants of the village area.
But Daesh could infiltrate the area again in June 2016.
Resulting in the dead of 3 Peshmerga, 7 Peshmerga where wounded and 20 militants of Hashid al Shaabi and local police died during the surprise attack.
Around 17 June Peshmerga and ISF killed all elements of Daesh that infiltrated and restored full control over the area and village.
