This small town has had severe increases and decreases in population since its founding. It formerly contained several dozen houses, a small store, and a post office. However, the post office and store have gone out of business. The most prominent features of the town are now the Rosedale Bible College campus, headquarters of the Conservative Mennonite Conference, headquarters of Rosedale Mennonite Missions, headquarters of Choice Books, and the Rosedale Free Will Baptist Church.
