Huntington Beach is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 189,992 at the 2010 census. The city is named after American businessman Henry E. Huntington.

Huntington Beach is a popular bicycling area, and the city is one of the very few that has a traffic school for cyclists. In almost all other locals a motorist can clear minor violations from their records by attending a traffic school but cyclists cannot.
