Health officials closed Brother's Pizza on April 1, 2010 after officials said the restaurant was found to be in an unsanitary condition with a rodent infestation.

According to a city inspection report, mice droppings were found inside and under a pizza machine, as well as on storage shelves. A build-up of grease and dirt was on all tables and shelves in the kitchen. Food was stored on the floor of a walk-in refrigerator. A sandwich bar refrigerator had a build-up of old food on it. There was trash in an alleyway. And there was no certified manager on duty.
