This is a very beautiful village well situated at bottom to the hill side. It is situated from Rajapur city at around 50 kms. The village contains of 8 wadis called Raowadi, sonarwadi, Guravwadi, Tawadewadi, Gawalwadi, Ayarewadi, Anandwadi & Manewadi. There is ST bus service from Rajapur & Ratnagiri. The nearest railway station is rajapur road i.e. 15 to 20 kms via Jawalether-Moroshi. Mr. Bhikaji P. Gurav is the Special Executive Officer (SEO) since year 2002 and also one of the local activist since 25 year. The village is well covered by tall hills by three side. Best places to visit in the village are Gango Mandir, Vithu Mahakali Mandir, Waterfall (Kulyencha Kada), Soan Timbli etc. The best season to visit the village is the Ganpati Festival and Summer vacation.
