Brooksby Melton College is a Further Education College situated in a mainly agricultural area 15 miles south of Nottingham and 15 miles north east of the City of Leicester. The College offers a wide range of vocational and academic courses and is an Associate College of De Montfort University. It has close links with local industry and with the community. On its Brooksby Campus, the College offers a comprehensive range of landbased further education provision including agriculture, animal care, countryside, engineering and machinery, equine, fishery studies and aquatics, horticulture and floristry, and higher education provision in Equine Science and Sports Management, and Animal Science. The College has recently been recognised as a Centre of Vocational Excellence for its Landbased Engineering and Machinery provision.
