Ram Mandir as the name suggests is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shri Rama, Lakshmana, Sita Mata and Shri Hanuman ji; four statues of them are installed in the temple. This is a quite ancient temple in the centre of the town, with its more than 350 years old strong history, even today its walls stand tall and wide before the blows of stormy winds. Ram Mandir has a traditional Gymnasium and a garden as well.
From the very foundation of the temple; it's been being managed by a Maharashtriyan Bramhin family named "Mujumdars" and therefore it's home to Mr Milind Mujumdar.
Throughout the year many religious activities and programs are conducted on the eve of different Hindu festivals.
A grand festival is also organized on "RamaNavami" the birthday of Shri Rama. People in thousands visit the temple to receive the blessings on this day.
