Former city projects, now privately-owned low income housing. The apartments are all broadly similar in design and features, the ones fronting Alrick Road are maintained to a higher standard than the ones on Furnace Brook Parkway which are increasingly neglected. The owners now seem to prefer renting to those receiving benefits which has led to a noticeable increase in drug abuse and noise in the buildings.
