The Admissions Building serves as the main venue of various student transactions for enrollment, scholarships, and document-releasing alongside the respective offices managing them (Admissions and Financial Assistance and the Office of the University Registrar respectively). Additionally, it houses other important units for career and placement, alumni relations, and education technology. The building also contains general-use, editing, and software-specific computer laboratories for students under different degree programs.
The structure has had a long history under different departments. Built in 1940 by National Artist Architect Pablo Antonio Sr. in the Art Deco style for the Girls' High School, its shares a nearly identical facade to the parallel Architecture and Fine Arts Building, which was for the Boys' High. In 1983, it became home to the Institute of Medicine, being adjacent to the FEU Hospital (present site of the Engineering Building). Upon the transfer of the institute to Fairview, Quezon City, the building was then put under the FEU-East Asia College. And in 2015, as FEU-EAC (now FEU Tech) transferred to their new building, the structure reverted back to the university and was named as the FEU Main Building.
For its cultural preservation, the Admissions Building, alongside four others, were honored as honorable mentions of the Asia Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation by the UNESCO in 2005. They are also bestowed National Cultural Treasures by the National Museum in 2023.
