Cathedral Gardens is a neighborhood in West Hempstead, NY. It is located where the borders of Garden City, West Hempstead and Hempstead meet. Technically only the houses which use the Cathedral Gardens Water district are considered a part of Cathedral Gardens. Named for the nearby Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, Cathedral Gardens is an idyllic upper class neighborhood that stands in stark contrast to the gritty urbanity of nearby Terrace Avenue and downtown Hempstead.
