Terrace Lake

USA / Montana / Thompson Falls /

Terrace Lake is a medium-sized, deep lake with a multitude of Cutthroat Trout. Though there is no listed trail, a forest road does lead to a visible access point, and hikers have marked some of the path. The lake is set on one side by a small outlet, while other parts are the remains of high cliffs that have been covered by water; it is then possible to see, in some places, straight down into its depths over 30 feet. There is a small lake above it which is unnamed, and appears to be the result of spring-feed and snowmelt catchment.
