Handy Street Parking Lot (New Brunswick, New Jersey)

The parking lot isn't what's important. It's what used to be here many decades ago... It was where I grew up before I graduated from high school back in the 80's. Even more important than that fact, it was where a very nice old lady allowed my family to live for cheap in exchange for taking care of the house. Her name was Mrs. Ellis. When my parents where able to buy a home of their own, we moved out from here thinking Mrs. Ellis had gotten someone else to live there. We found out later that no one else lived in the first floor. Just her and her 25 cats. When she passed away, the house was condemned. She owned the other home beside it. That's the other side of the parking lot.
