Sri Bhuvanendra college, Karkala, is an Arts, Science and Commerce college founded in 1960 and affiliated to the Mangalore University. The management of the college is vested in Sri Bhuvenendra College Trust, a registered body and nominated by the Academy of General Education, Manipal.

IDEAL CENTRE FOR UNIVERSITY EDUCATION
Situated in one of the most beautiful out-skirts of Karkala about a mile from the town, the College has an atmosphere quite congenial for studies and inviting a worthy living away from the buzz of the town. The picturesque natural surroundings pulsating with the dynamic and positive spirit of an ashram of the days that have gone by, make this place an ideal centre for university education.

The College has excellent educational facilities. It is housed in a magnificent building and is provided with a good library and well equipped laboratories. There are hostels both for men as well as women which ensure peaceful environment for undisturbed study and healthy living.

  • I was student of this college, its very dignified and proud for me.I had completed my BCOM Graduation in the year 1997 and now settled and working in Dubai, I always greatful to my college and its team. Hearty thanks as i never got the chance to say thanks to my Teacher eventhough its very tiny word. i still miss the classes of those teachers like.....Radha Krishnan, YP Nayak, Krishna, Kotian, M.R,so on................ I LOVE MY COLLEGE.............SHRI BHUVANENDRA COLLEGE KARKALA.....
  • I am proud to be an alumni of Sri Buvanendra College.I finished my B.SC. (CBZ)from this prestigious college in 2003. Subsequently I completed my B.ED. course from Managalore University. I miss all my teachers and professors especially Late.Jayanth Shetty, Prof.Adhikari, Prof.Natraj, Prof.Gayatri, Prof.Vijaya & Prof.B P Gawda. I am now settled in Mumbai. Thank you all so much for enlightening me and showing me the path of righteousness to lead this world.

  • Happy were those 5 years which I spent at my college which will never come back but only memories can be cherished.I really miss my lecturers Gowda Sir,Vijaya Mam,MRB Sir,Naveen Sir,Shakuntala Mam,Vidya mam,KNP sir,Mahima Mam.And Ofcourse MyHostel and all my friends.Presently i am settled at Mysore working in Infosys
  • I DID MY PRE-UNIVERSITY AND B.Sc [ZOOLOGY, BOTANY AND OHEMISTRY] FROM 1969 TO 1973. THEN I WENT ON TO ATTEND KASTURBA MEDICAL COLLEGE, MANIPAL AND MANGALORE. I GREATLY MISS MY DAYS AT S.B.COLLEGE. I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT KARKALA AGAIN. NOW I WORK AS A PSYCHIATRIST IN LONDON.

But we five classmates still in touch are Sathish shetty Mumbai,Jagadish T A karkala, Harischandra Hegde, Krishnadas hegde mangalore and I have settled in Mangalore after retiring from an Nationalised Bank. great feelings
