Remains of 16th Century North range, gatehouse, and Chapel of St Modwena built in 1488, the latter restored in 1888. There are remains of a surrounding moat. The Manor of Pillaton was held by Burton Abbey until the Dissolution. This site is a scheduled monument and a Grade II* listed building.
