  • Also, from 1889 to 1913, the home of the poet Zinaida Gippius (1869-1945) and her husband, the philosopher Dmitri Merezhkovsky (1865-1941). After the turn of the 19th century, they held a Sunday salon in their fourth floor apartment, which attracted many of the day's leading artistic figures.
