museum, Moorish Revival (architecture), interesting place
Designed c. 1907 in the Moorish Revival style by Olds & Puckey as an auditorium for the Irem Shriners. It has been acclaimed as one of the nation’s most significant examples of Moorish Revival architecture, inspired by the Mosque of Omar on the outside and the Court of Lions of the Alhambra Palace for the inside.
