This is the main bus station terminus in Kuala Lumpur. Long-distance buses arrive and leave from here. It is especially busy during public holiday and festive periods. It was opened in 1976 and formerly known by the name Puduraya Bus Terminal. A new name was given to the old Puduraya Bus Terminal by the then prime minister Najib Razak after reopening it on 27th September 2011.
