The Palander domestic museum preserves the life of a genuine well-to-do family in Hämeenlinna a century ago. The rooms of the house range from a ceremonial hall to a homely kitchen with a small costume exhibition and a garden stocked in the original style. Guided tours commence at half-hourly intervals from 12 noon till 3 p.m
