An interpretive exhibit containing a replica of a gravity car. From 1896 to 1930, steam trains pushed gravity cars from Mill Valley to Mt. Tamalpais, and along a branch to the vicinity of Muir Woods. This car barn is at the location of the summit train yard, the highest point on the line. See www.mttam.net/Default.aspx?tabid=828
