The AsiaWorld-Expo is one of the two major convention and exhibition facilities in Hong Kong along with the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is located on the northeast corner of Chep Lap Kok Island, where the Hong Kong International Airport is located. It is operated by AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited and was opened on December 21, 2005 by Donald Tsang.
It offers over 70,000 square metres of rentable space, including 10 exhibition halls and the 13,500-seat AsiaWorld-Arena.
