Formerly called and still known as Plaza Serrano(officially Plazoleta Cortázar), this plaza is packed on weekends with vendors selling art, clothing, crafts, jewelry, etc. It is the heart of Palermo SOHO and surrounded by clothing and design boutiques and shops, restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is somewhat bohemian and this area of the city is popular with young, upper-middle class Argentines as well as foreign tourists. Shopping ranges from trinkets to high end brand names.
