This pine tree has been one of the most famous urban legends of Baguio City during its time. It is said that this tree has been around since the American Colonial Period and has taken a lot of lives in so many accidents and said that there are elemental beings that abide and live in this tree.

Ruroms say that the Parish Priest who blessed the tree and the cutter who cutdown the tree, all met their untimely deaths and that their ghosts has made Loakan road their home, spawning revenge to anyone who is not smart to take care of themselves while crossing this nightmarish road.
