Trinty Episcopal (Anglican) Church dates back to 1842. The church opened in 1874, replacing a structure destroyed by the Great Chicago Fire. The parish house (left) was constructed in 1894.
Chauncy B. Blair (1810-1890) was a prominent Chicago banker and fiounder of Merchants' National Bank. It merged into the Corn Exchange Bank in 1893, which in turn was acquired by Chemical Bank in 1954.
