The Museum of the Submarine Force is in the northern breakwater of Playa Grande, Mar del Plata, and has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, when the then President, Don Marcelo Torcuato de Alvear, ordered the construction of Naval Base Mar del Plata and a first series of submarines. The whole history of our submarines to date is reflected in the museum
