Known as the "Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania". The 47-mile long gorge was carved by glacial meltwater and is located within what is now Tioga State Forest. The deepest portion of the gorge, near Waterville, is 1,450 feet deep. Designated a National Natural Landmark.
