church, landmark, Episcopal Church
The landmark church is a representative of the Stick Style of architecture popular in the 1870s and 1880s.
All Saints' is the oldest wood-frame church in Chicago, having been built in 1884 when Ravenswood was not part of Chicago and thus not subject to the post-fire ban on wooden structures.
After almost disbanding in 1992, All Saints' has made a remarkable comeback. Sadly, it was vandalzied with water damage in November 2009.
