Ventspils Blue Flag Beach (Ventspils)

The Blue Flag Beach stretches for 1.2 km and in some places is almost 80 m wide. Made of fine white sand and dunes that in some places reach a height of 15 m. The northernmost border of the Beach is the Venstpils Harbor Southern Pier, at the foot of which you'll find a conveniently placed parking lot and an observer tower with telescopes. There is a special facilitated Surfers Beach of 500 m length with appropriate equipment for preparing, storing and drying of surfing inventory and a separated area for nudists further south. The beach can be reached using 5 different plank-ways of which the one located near the water rescue station is wheelchair friendly.

During the summer here you will find Beach volleyball and football fields and cafes. Children will be able to enjoy different types of playground equipment and obstacles. We respect health of vacationers, therefore it is prohibited to smoke on the most part of the Blue Flag Beach area. Accordingly marked trashcans are in places where smoking is allowed.
