A former passenger station that services the neighbouring towns of Dotnuva and Akademija. After Vilnius-Kaunas-Šiauliai service was discontinued and Vilnius-Klaipėda acquired the status of a fast train, there are no passenger trains remaining that stop at the station. Now the station serves only as an intermediate point for freight trains on their route.
