One of about 400 drive-ins left in the U.S., and 35 in Pennsylvania. Open continuously since 1953, and still extremely well-attended. Rumors have been swirling that it may not have too long to go, since the owners of Giant Food Stores have purchased the land with an eye on expanding there (they already have a store in the adjacent strip mall), although whether a larger one is needed to serve the Dillsburg area is arguable. In any case, if you can make it out here when and if they open in 2007, you probably should.

  • This is a great a drive-in to see a movie at. The kitchen could use some updating. The whole complex is crazy like a state fair beforehand and during intermission. Once the movie starts, it gets quiet enough to sit in your car (or a lawnchair) and enjoy. -derekmartin81
