Longbridge Mill (Sherfield on Loddon)

United Kingdom / England / Basing / Sherfield on Loddon
 restaurant, museum, bar, interesting place

Longbridge Mill Is a destination food house on the main A33 road to Reading at Hook. Historically this was an old mill and there still is an operating flour mill which is open all day every day and has flour milled on the 4th Saturday of every month! Fully refurbished to a high standard in December 2008, we re-opened as a Vintage Inn. Inside this traditional looking venue there are features of the old mill which still exist in certain parts such as the log fire in the restaurant. The bar area, with it's comfy sofas offers a place to relax. There is a large restaurant and, together with the al fresco facilities in the beer garden, there are about 350 covers in all. Quality homemade food is served daily from a varied menu, offering a range of dishes all of which are freshly prepared and cooked to order on the premises. With plenty of grassland in the extensive garden this is a great summer pub. We also have a function room for approximately 60 people. Why not come along and experience the new Longbridge Mill for yourself soon.
