A famous place for Ganesh Visarjan. Also known as Sanitary system & to wash clothes which is spoiling its beauty.

This lake was dug by head of Miraj Princely state - Patwardhan Sarkar as drought relief work. The black stone recovered from digging is used for constructing Ganesh temple that stands in front of the main entrance of the lake. The other construction made of these stones is old building of Miraj police station standing in Miraj Market.
