Designed by Hudson and Munsell in the Renaissance Revival style.
Active as a working fire station from 1910 to 1960.
This is the firehouse that was used for the interior shots of the Ghostbusters headquarters in both Ghostbusters films. It was also used in Big Trouble In Little China, The Mask, Flashpoint (an adult film), and National Security.
The first black and white photo was made in the rain on 30 January 1968.
The second black and white was made a few years later.
Johns Dog House is long gone.
