stadium, baseball -to be removed cleaned
In 1957 BYU's baseball team began playing its games on a field where the Tanner building now stands. The team continued playing there until 1969, when its games were moved to Cougar Field. In 2001, thanks to donations from Larry H. Miller and his wife Gail, both the men's baseball and women's softball teams got a new home. The men's stadium with 2,000 seats is back to back with the women's stadium, also with 2,000 seats. The complex comes equipped with a first-class press box and a modern tensile roof that is constructed from a Teflon fabric pulled taut by cables.
