Mali me Gropa (Mountain with Holes), also known as Honeycomb Mountain, is a marvelous karstic landscape at elevations on average 1500 m to 1800 m asl. Karst holes, wells, and crater-like cones are found in many different sizes, situated with a strange regularity. They are covered by alpine grass and meadows which are dotted with beautiful flowers and many rare plants, forming a specific karst ecosystem. In winter the slopes of the mountains are used for skiing and also snowshoeing.
