The 30th AG is a hellhole.

I can second that. I've been through it!

30th AG may not be the best place in the world to live, but it is only designed to billet Soldiers for a week at the most.

Lived there for 2 months with pneumonia, but I know some who were there for over a year. Its grate if your not part of the "lost company". They where Alpha when I got there and Echo When I left. Every time inspectors came threw we where given a day pass so we would not be seen, our bunks where broken down daily and if you did not have contraband to bribe the drills, your stuff got searched two or three times a day, and the psychiatrist run the place. My AKO account said I was at home on leave the whole time I was "lost". I still love being there though.

Stop your whining. You're just mad because you couldn't hack it as a soldier!

I spent 3 months here and had mixed emotions about it. as a smoker, I hated it. but we found ways to get what we needed. I think we learned ways to beat the system, after that, I went up the hill for 13 weeks of hell and followed that with 3 weeks ait, 3 weeks airborne, and finely stopped at ranger school.... screw "Follow me", WE LEAD THE WAY!

"...3 weeks ait, 3 weeks airborne, and finely (sic) stopped at ranger school....." I doubt you went to Ranger school right after Airborne School, before you had a unit of assignment. Did you mean that you went to RIP, then got picked up by Regiment, then later once you made E-4 (or a high-speed E-3) THEN you went to Ranger School? Maybe THAT's What you meant. Otherwise, your memory needs enhancing. And maybe going back to Benning and seeing the Ranger School will help.

Here is where the 11B learns the meaning of hurry up and wait, gets his shots and uniform issue and wastes a lot of time fucking around until the next OSUT company cycle comes around. In our day, we still shined boots. Not sure what the lucky prives do with their time these days... It is also where the stress fracture broke-dicks, psych cases, PT failures, RFTs and other assorted losers go until they either heal or hell freezes over.
