Armstrong is an unincorporated community in sections 3-4 of Pickerel Lake Township, Freeborn County, Minnesota.
Armstrong was established in 1878, and was named for Hon. Thomas Henry Armstrong, who in that year erected a grain elevator there. The village had a station of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad and the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad. A post office operated 1878-1958.
