Just about two years ago in November of 2009, this abandoned PNC bank was demolished and today an apartment building is standing here. This PNC bank was an ugly building and I am so happy it was demolished. The new three story apartment complex also known as the Emerson Grand has the first floor available for three to four stores and the top two floors for apartments. The building construction officialy started in February 2010 with the building of the three stairwells. Steel framing began in late March 2010 and construction recently finished in early December 2010. The building is now one of the few most great looking buildings in town. Ever since the very beginnings of the construction, I have rode my bike to the construction site to take pictures of the progress. Compared to the bank building that used to be there, this building is way more beautiful.
